It is our policy to see patients by appointment, except in cases of Emergency. Appointments are scheduled Monday thru Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify the office as soon as possible. If you have an urgent problem, please inform the receptionist and an appointment will be made as soon as possible.
Every effort is made to operate our office so that you will not have a long wait to see the Doctor. Occasionally, surgeries last longer than anticipated and deliveries are unpredictable, which may result in unexpected delay in your appointment. We greatly appreciate your patience when these situations arise.
How you can help
1. Notify us in advance if you are unable to keep an appointment.
2. Inform the receptionist of the type of appointment you need so we can allocate the proper amount of time.
3. Provide accurate telephone numbers, both at home and work, should we need to contact you concerning the appointment.
Office hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please call our office if you have any questions regarding your condition, medication, or treatment. We know that any matter that concerns you is confidential, but the phone receptionist may need some specific information in order to properly route your call. Our staff is trained to answer your questions, arrange prescription refills, etc. Except in emergencies, the Doctors do not leave their patients to answer phone calls. If you need to speak to the doctor personally, you may leave a message and your call will be returned when conditions permit, usually at the end of the day. If you have an urgent problem after hours, the doctor's exchange will take your telephone number and a physician will return your call as soon as possible.
If you need a prescription refilled, please call your pharmacist first. He will know if you have an authorized refill. If there are no refills, call Baptist Women's location during office hours before 4:00 p.m. Please give the receptionist the requested information or leave all requested information on the prescription voice line, and if the prescription can be refilled, we will call your pharmacy.
